Strategic contract focuses on bringing trusted, actionable data to rail freight operations
London, 25 February 2026 – Pairpoint, a joint venture between Vodafone and Sumitomo Corporation, today announced a new strategic commercial agreement with Nexxiot, the global leader in rail and maritime asset intelligence, to integrate Pairpoint’s technology into Nexxiot’s solutions.
Building on their existing collaboration, the companies are now extending their work into rail freight. Together, they will integrate the Pairpoint technology into the Nexxiot family of rail devices, enhancing Nexxiot’s asset intelligence platform, delivering reliable, actionable insights across rail supply chains.
The partnership will combine Nexxiot’s real-time asset visibility expertise with Pairpoint’s data provenance capabilities, assuring every data point is cryptographically signed and independently verifiable by rail operators.
