A message from the CEO, Maximilian Eichhorn

I’m delighted to announce my engagement as Nexxiot’s CEO. Having served for over two years as a member of its Board of Directors, I already know the company well and greatly believe in its purpose. The mission is to digitalize transport equipment and infrastructure so our clients and partners can exceed their growth and sustainability goals.

With over 25 years of experience leading businesses in corporate, start-up, and growth environments, I am excited to work with this diverse team to deliver even more value for our industry.

We continue to apply asset intelligence technology to transform shipping containers and railcars into connected agents to automate processes and optimize operations. Our purpose is to facilitate easier, safer, and cleaner movement of freight and passengers across the global transportation network.

Having worked as Vice President of Digital Products & Services at one of Nexxiot’s investors and strategic partners, Knorr-Bremse, and for Siemens in the areas of mobility, I am ready to help Nexxiot scale.

I’m focused on driving innovation to address the operational needs of maritime and rail clients so participants like carriers, BCOs, transport providers, finance partners, and regulators can benefit. It’s an exciting moment for the industry as we progress from around a million assets currently equipped with our digital technologies to the multiple millions we will equip in the next few years.

It is our goal to work with our clients and partners to deliver transparency and operational excellence and set a new global standard for trade compliance services for stakeholders in the value network.

I am a great believer in open communication and encourage feedback from stakeholders as we collaborate with the industry. I am committed to integrating diverse perspectives to maximize performance – with a particular focus on culture, execution, efficiency, client experience, and technical excellence.
